Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) in the hospitality sector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving business growth through strategic planning, customer relationship management, and effective negotiation. This role requires a strong understanding of the hospitality market and the ability to build lasting relationships with clients while identifying new business opportunities.

Duties

  • Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business development goals within the hospitality sector.
  • Utilize customer relationship management software, such as Salesforce, to track interactions and manage client relationships effectively.
  • Identify potential clients and markets through research and networking efforts.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with clients to secure profitable business deals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project management from initiation to completion.
  • Coordination with internal departments is also essential to deliver seamless guest experiences and ensure that the service offerings align with client expectations.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations to stakeholders, showcasing business development strategies and outcomes.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of industry developments and best practices in hospitality.

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in business development, sales, or project management within the hospitality industry.
  • Strong skills in customer relationship management, with a focus on building long-term partnerships.
  • Proficiency in using software tools for sales tracking and reporting, particularly Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Excellent strategic planning abilities with a keen eye for market opportunities.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers effectively.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to present ideas clearly.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
