Position Overview:

Business Development Manager

Key Responsibilities:

Lead Generation & Business Growth

  • Develop and implement strategies for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities in the hospitality industry.
  • Generate new leads through market research, industry events, cold calling, networking, and strategic outreach.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and ensure a consistent flow of potential business opportunities.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build, maintain, and strengthen long-term relationships with key clients in the hospitality sector, including luxury hotels, resorts, and spas.
  • Regularly engage with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, uncover new needs, and expand the scope of services provided.

Market Analysis & Strategy

  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer insights to create strategic sales and marketing plans.
  • Conduct in-depth research to identify new potential markets and customer segments.

Sales & Negotiations

  • Lead and support contract negotiations with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
  • Collaborate with senior management to prepare proposals and pitch presentations for potential clients.

Cross-functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with the sales, marketing, and product development teams to align business development efforts with overall company goals.
  • Provide feedback and market intelligence to product teams to enhance the company's offerings.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare regular reports on business development activities, sales performance, and market trends.
  • Provide detailed forecasts to senior management to assist in strategic decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

Experience

  • 5 to 10 years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management in the hospitality or luxury goods industry.
  • Proven track record of successfully driving business growth and acquiring new clients.
  • Experience with sales strategy development, contract negotiations, and client management.

Education

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

Skills

  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools such as Salesforce.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
