Business Development / Key Accounts Manager

Erode, TN

responsible for driving growth for the client by identifying new market opportunities, building client relationships, and developing strategic sales plans

Core responsibilities

  • Strategic planning:

    Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company growth and revenue targets.
  • Market analysis:

    Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, trends, and potential clients.
  • Client management:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients and partners.
  • Sales execution:

    Drive sales through direct contact with prospective clients, negotiating contracts, and closing deals.
  • Collaboration:

    Work with internal teams, such as design and marketing, to support business development efforts and enhance brand presence.

Key skills and qualifications

  • Industry knowledge:

    Understanding of the textile industry, including sourcing processes, fabric types, and market dynamics.
  • Sales and negotiation:

    Proven experience in sales and a strong ability to negotiate and close deals.
  • Communication:

    Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Analytical skills:

  • Education:

    A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field is often preferred. An MBA is sometimes specified for senior roles.

    6years of experience in textile sales, marketing, or a related business development role is typically required
