Education :

  • B.Tech / B.E. in Civil or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

Experience :

  • 3-8 years of relevant experience in Business Development or Sales within civil, infrastructure, or environmental sectors
  • Proven track record in

    government or semi-government projects

    is highly desirable
  • Exposure to

    road/highway and urban infrastructure projects

    , tendering, and bid management

Key Responsibilities :

Business Development & Client Engagement

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in civil, road, and urban infrastructure projects
  • Engage with government departments, consultants, EPC firms, and decision-makers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients

Technical & Proposal Coordination

  • Collaborate with internal technical teams to develop customized solutions
  • Prepare and deliver professional techno-commercial presentations
  • Analyse client tenders, RFPs, and project requirements to align with company capabilities

Tendering & Bidding

  • Lead preparation and submission of bids as per tender specifications
  • Attend pre-bid meetings and represent the company professionally
  • Ensure compliance with technical and commercial requirements

Account Management & Reporting

  • Track and report sales activities, project pipelines, and business performance
  • Develop strategies to achieve monthly and annual sales targets

Stakeholder Coordination

  • Collaborate with engineers, consultants, and internal teams to deliver client-specific solutions
  • Maintain continuous communication with clients for project updates and follow-ups

Required Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong business development skills in civil, road, or infrastructure sectors
  • Technical understanding of road, highway, and urban infrastructure projects
  • Knowledge of civil engineering concepts including pile foundations, geo-grids, and structural systems
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to prepare and deliver professional PowerPoint presentations
  • Strong networking, relationship-building, and client-handling abilities
  • Professional, self-driven, and target-oriented personality

Preferred Experience:

  • Proven track record in

    government/semi-government infrastructure projects

  • Experience in

    road/highway and urban infrastructure projects

    is highly desirable
  • Exposure to

    tendering, bidding, and project execution
