Business Development Manager

Job Purpose

The Business Development Manager is Responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities, managing & expanding client relationships and achieving sales targets in the assigned territory.

Key Responsibilities / Principal Accountabilities

• Develop and implement growth strategies and business plans.
  
• Manage and retain relationships with existing clients while increasing the client base.
  
• Maintain an in-depth knowledge of business products, services, and value propositions.
  
• Prepare and present business proposals to prospective and existing customers.
  
• Negotiate with stakeholders to secure beneficial outcomes.
  
• Identify and map business strengths and customer needs to generate new opportunities.
  
• Report regularly on achievements and areas requiring improvement.
  
• Prepare and deliver monthly business reviews and presentations to senior management.
  
• Forecast sales targets and ensure the team meets these objectives.
  
• Submit accurate weekly progress reports.
  

Key Interactions

Internal:

• Coordinate with FP, RSM, SDE, and SDM regarding products.
  
• Liaise with Accounts/Audit for receivables and payments.
  
• Work with the Admin team regarding new outlet openings, branding and reporting.
  

External:

• Interact with existing franchisees, distributors, and secondary sales channels for orders.
  
• Engage with local markets for opening new outlets.
  

Knowledge, Skills & Experience

Educational Qualifications:

• Any degree .
  

Experience:

• 4 to 7 years of sales or field experience.

• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  
• Proven negotiation and conflict resolution abilities

Additional Requirements:
