Business Development Manager Freight forwarding

As a Professional Candidate for the position of Assistant Manager/Deputy Manager Business Development in the field of Freight Forwarding, you will play a crucial role in generating sales leads for Freight Forwarding & CHA business (Ocean/Air/Customs/Road) and creating a healthy sales pipeline for the Branch. Your responsibilities will include targeting large corporate accounts, developing nomination business through leads and tapping overseas offices/agents, and visiting major customers for the branch with continuous follow-up to secure business. You will be responsible for data collection related to proper credit assessment of the Customers and ensuring that all budgeted sales and profit goals are met. Collaboration in joint sales calls/canvassing activities and customer retention activities will be a key part of your role. Building strong relationships with customers, agencies, trade associations, and industrial associations will be crucial for networking and generating business. Your role will involve networking with prospective clients, both new and existing, to achieve profitability and increased sales growth for the Branch. Working closely with product teams for business development, market trends, and overseeing the movement of clients" goods to ensure timely pickup, transportation, and delivery will also be part of your responsibilities.
