Greetings for the day! We are looking for Business Development Manager position .It is an opening with one of our reputed client in Bengaluru. Please find the job description below . Mainly looking for Candidates from Hotel/Hospitality/FMCG/Telecom/edutech industry in Bengaluru. Job description We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives across Karnataka. The ideal candidate must have a strong foothold in the local market, fluency in Kannada, and the ability to travel extensively across the state. Candidates from FMCG, Telecom, or similar industries with a proven track record in B2B sales are preferred. Key Responsibilities :- * Drive business growth across Karnataka by targeting diverse sales segments including corporates, schools, colleges, and institutions. * Conduct in-depth market research to identify trends, new business opportunities, and potential partners. * Build and lead a high-performing sales team and manage business development partners to meet regional targets. * Acquire new clients through strategic outreach, relationship management, and negotiation. * Collaborate with marketing teams to create tailored campaigns and promotional material for various market segments. * Maintain and update a comprehensive client database and sales pipeline using CRM tools. * Attend industry events and exhibitions to expand the network and brand presence. * Monitor competition and prepare detailed reports on sales performance and market dynamics. Requirements :- * Strong local network and understanding of Karnataka's market landscape. * Fluency in Kannada is a must. * Willingness to travel extensively within the state. * Excellent negotiation, leadership, and team management skills. * Familiarity with CRM software and strong IT proficiency. * Analytical mindset with the ability to generate strategic insights. * Degree in any discipline; a background in Travel & Tourism is a plus. * Must have relevant experience in multiple sales channels (corporate, institutional, channel) and must have a thorough understanding of Karnataka local geographies * Should've worked in distribution sales for corporates for travel agents (if from a travel/ tourism background or has prior experience in this sector) or someone handles sales for laptop computer sales manufacturing units, stationary, office supply companies in Karnataka * Can be from FMCG/ telecom /edutech background as well but must have B2B experience, must've onboarded corporate clients from the Karnataka market.
