Role & responsibilities

1. Customer Acquisition & Growth

  • Identify, approach, and establish new customer relationships in domestic markets.
  • Consistently generate new orders with a minimum 20% contribution from new business conversions.

2. Order Management

  • Maintain a minimum of 15002000 tons of confirmed order bookings at all times.
  • Ensure dispatch of at least 1500 tons of quality, saleable castings.
  • Introduce a minimum of 300 tons of new orders annually, with a strong focus on machined components.

3. Market Development

  • Explore new segments, industries, and applications for SG & Grey Iron Castings.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with existing customers to ensure repeat business and long-term partnerships.
  • Leverage excellent communication and negotiation skills to handle discussions, resolve issues, and present solutions effectively.

Preferred candidate profile

  • 25 years of proven experience in Business Development / Sales within Foundry or related Engineering / Manufacturing industries.
  • Strong technical background in SG & Grey Iron Castings and machining requirements.
  • Candidate must have good customer network base.
  • Candidate must be able to deliver order conversion of 400 tons within 3 to 6 months period.
  • Candidate should have good negotiable and customer convince skill to get commercial finalization like RM movement in every quarter.
  • Candidate must have knowledge in actual raw material price movement and MMR movement.
  • Demonstrated success in achieving tonnage targets and expanding customer base.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for business requirements.
  • Proactive, result-oriented, and go-getter attitude with strong business acumen.
