Business Development Manager - Defence Liaison

Key Responsibilities: Act as a strategic liaison between Rivotta India and Defence establishments, Commands, and HQs across India. Drive business opportunities through Government e-Marketplace (GeM) – ensuring complete understanding of how Government and Defence procurement systems function. Build and strengthen long-term relationships with key Defence and Government officials. Identify, pursue, and close business development opportunities in IT, Audio Visual, Office Automation, and allied sectors. Travel extensively across India for meetings, demos, and liaisoning. Provide monthly in-person reporting to the Director at our Delhi Head Office. Eligibility Criteria: Preferred: Retired Officers/Personnel from Indian Defence Services (Army, Navy, Air Force) with solid knowledge of procurement and liaison networks. Open to Consideration: Candidates from Business Development/Sales background with proven Defence sector exposure. Industry preference: IT, Audio-Visual, Office Automation; however, candidates from other industries with Defence liaisoning expertise will also be considered. Candidate Requirements: In-depth knowledge of Defence Commands, HQs, and procurement processes. Strong expertise in GeM and Government purchase systems. Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to engage senior officials with confidence and diplomacy. Pan-India travel readiness and willingness to operate independently. Candidates from Delhi-NCR are preferred, but strong profiles from other locations will be considered (with monthly reporting at Delhi).
