Roles of a Business Development Manager (BDM):
Client Acquisition & Relationship Building Identify new business opportunities, generate leads, and build long-term relationships with clients.
Market Research & Strategy Analyze market trends, competitors, and customer needs to develop effective sales strategies.
Sales & Revenue Growth Drive sales, negotiate contracts, and achieve business growth targets.
Collaboration with Teams Work with marketing, sales, and product teams to align strategies and ensure smooth client onboarding.
Brand Representation Represent the company at networking events, meetings, and industry conferences.
Responsibilities:
Develop and execute strategies to attract new clients and retain existing ones.
Could you identify potential business opportunities through research, cold calling, networking, and digital platforms
Prepare and deliver business proposals, presentations, and pitches.
I want you to please maintain strong client relationships to ensure repeat business and customer satisfaction.
Work closely with internal teams (marketing, operations, tech) to provide client solutions.
Track and report performance metrics such as lead conversion, sales pipeline, and revenue.
Negotiate contracts, pricing, and service agreements with clients.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor offerings, and market shifts.
