Your strategic thinking will play a key role in translating market insights into actionable sales and marketing strategies to support the company's overall objectives. **Key Responsibilities:** - **Market Expansion:** Identify and pursue new business opportunities in potential markets, including expanding the customer base in rural and urban areas. - **Relationship Management:** Build and maintain strong relationships with key distributors, dealers, and strategic partners to drive sales growth and customer satisfaction. - **Sales Strategy Development:** Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to design effective sales strategies, set performance targets, and align them with business goals. - **Marketing Insights:** Conduct market research, gather insights about customer needs, competitor offerings, and industry trends, and communicate these insights to inform product development and marketing strategies. - **Product Promotion:** Develop and implement promotional strategies to increase awareness of cattle feed products, ensuring alignment with brand positioning. - **Sales Support & Training:** Provide guidance, training, and support to sales staff to improve performance, enhance product knowledge, and promote effective selling techniques. - **Field Visits:** Regularly visit clients and key accounts to strengthen relationships, understand market dynamics, and gather on-ground feedback. - **Reporting and Analysis:** Maintain accurate records, provide regular reports on business development activities, market insights, and sales performance to senior management. **Qualifications & Skills:** - Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or a related field; MBA preferred. - Proven experience in business development or sales, preferably in the agriculture or livestock feed industry. - Strong strategic and analytical skills, excellent communication, and relationship-building abilities. - Proficiency in CRM and Microsoft Office, experience in market research, data analysis, and utilizing marketing insights. - Knowledge of the cattle feed or agricultural industry is highly preferred. - Ability to travel as needed to support business development initiatives.
