Job Title: Purchase & Inventory Assistant – CowCare (Vishal Agro Group) Location: Magudanchavadi, Salem District, Tamil Nadu Reporting To: Operations Manager Employment Type: Full-time (factory-based) Role Purpose To support the Purchase–Inventory–Admin function by handling vendor follow-ups, goods inward/outward, stock checking, and production reporting activities. The role ensures uninterrupted operational flow and data accuracy during and after the maternity leave of the current executive. Key Responsibilities1. Purchase Coordination Collect quotations, follow up with suppliers, and ensure timely delivery of raw materials and consumables. Prepare basic purchase comparison sheets for OPM approval. Coordinate with drivers and vendors for material pickup and delivery confirmation. Verify bills and submit to Finance for payment processing. Compensation ₹10,000 – ₹15,000 per month (based on experience) Allowances for local travel / phone Performance-linked incentive for accuracy and timeliness of reporting 2. Inventory & Stock Control Supervise goods receiving process — quantity, weight, and quality verification. Update inward and outward registers accurately on the same day. Monitor daily stock levels of raw materials, packaging materials, and finished goods. Assist in monthly stock audits and reconciliation. 3. Production & Admin Support Collect production data from the supervisor and record daily output reports. Maintain issue slips for raw materials issued to production. Coordinate with Sales Admin for dispatch and finished goods handover. Handle basic admin activities: petty cash, utility payments, filing, courier handling. Skills & Qualifications Diploma / Graduate in Commerce, Logistics, or related field. 2–4 years’ experience in purchase or store operations (factory or feed/FMCG preferred). Basic computer knowledge (Excel mandatory; ERP familiarity an advantage). Ability to communicate in Tamil (and basic Hindi understanding helpful and will be considered as advantage). Physically fit, organized, and responsible with documentation. Two-wheeler with valid license for vendor coordination.
