Business Development Manager (BDM)

Experience: Above 25 years Experience in Construction Industry and 10 Years in the role of business development.

Salary : 25,00,000 - 35,00,000 PA

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced person to lead our business growth initiatives in the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities, building strategic relationships, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and implement business strategies to achieve revenue targets.

2. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and collaborations.

3. Build and maintain relationships with clients, architects, engineers, and contractors.

4. Conduct market research and competitor analysis to stay ahead of industry trends.

5. Prepare and present business proposals, pitches, and tenders.

6. Negotiate and close deals, ensuring favourable terms and conditions.

7. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and operations.

8. Monitor and report on market trends, competitor activity, and business performance.

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's/Master's degree in Civil Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.

2. Above 10 years experience in business development, sales, or marketing in the construction industry.

3. Proven track record of achieving revenue targets and driving business growth.

4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

5. Strong industry network and relationships.

6. Strategic thinking, problem-solving, and analytical skills.

7. Ability to travel extensively (up to 50%).

Desirable Qualifications:

1. BE-Civil, B.Tech Civil & MBA or PGDM from a reputed institution.

2. Experience in managing teams and leading business development initiatives.

3. Knowledge of construction industry trends, regulations, and standards.

4. Certification in business development, sales, or marketing.
