Position Overview
Vanya Group is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager (BDM) to expand our Exhibition & Conference vertical. The candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing client relationships, and driving revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Identify and develop new business opportunities in exhibitions, trade shows, and conferences.
Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, associations, and industry stakeholders.
Generate leads through market research, networking, and digital channels.
Prepare and deliver impactful presentations, proposals, and business pitches.
Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, design) to meet client requirements.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and market insights.
Represent the company at industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums.
Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Strong client relationship management abilities.
Proven track record in business development or sales.
Knowledge of the exhibition and conference industry is mandatory.
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM tools.
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
2 – 4 years of relevant experience in business development, sales, or client servicing (preferably in events, exhibitions, or conferences).
