The Business Development Manager B2B role based in Mumbai requires 1-3 years of experience in Sales/Business Development within the Sales industry. As a Business Development Manager, your key responsibilities will include generating leads through various methods such as cold calling, networking, field visits, and referrals. You will be expected to meet potential clients, present product/service offerings, and close deals effectively. Developing and executing strategic sales plans to achieve targets, identifying market trends, customer needs, and competitor analysis are crucial aspects of the role. Regular client meetings, site visits, and follow-ups are essential to maintain relationships and gather feedback. Maintaining a CRM/database with lead status and interactions, preparing proposals, quotes, and contracts in coordination with management, and building long-term relationships with key clients and channel partners are key tasks. Representing the company at industry events and sales exhibitions, providing regular reports and feedback to the sales head/management are important for the success in this role. The ideal candidate should hold a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA is a plus) and possess a minimum of 3 years of hands-on sales experience in a B2B or B2C domain. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills are essential. The role requires comfort with field sales, client visits, and travel. Due to the nature of the job involving extensive travel and field duties, male candidates are preferred.
