Role Description

This is a target-based role for a Business Development Manager Agri Products at Atavishaala Agro Exports Pvt Ltd. The manager will be responsible for building partnerships with food industries, FMCG companies, traders, and bulk buyers of staples like rice, wheat, tamarind, green gram, and black gram. Key tasks include identifying and approaching potential clients, conducting market research, analyzing industry demand, and developing proposals to secure bulk orders. The role involves negotiating contracts, closing monthly sales targets, and ensuring smooth coordination with the logistics and supply chain teams. The manager will also provide market insights and growth strategies to strengthen Atavishaala's presence in domestic and international markets. Performance will be evaluated based on the achievement of assigned monthly targets, with payouts and incentives linked directly to results.

Qualifications

  • Strong experience in B2B sales, business development, or agri-trading partnerships
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Proven ability to identify bulk buyers and develop strategic partnerships
  • Knowledge of the agriculture sector, agri-products, and agritech innovations
  • Proficiency in market research, data analysis, and sales planning
  • Self-motivated, target-oriented, and able to work independently or with a team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Agriculture, or related field; MBA is a plus
  • Experience in client relationship management, contract negotiation, and achieving sales targets
