Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities

  • Business Growth & Strategy

    • Develop and execute business development strategies to enter and expand market share in the aerospace machining and precision engineering sector.
    • Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities with aerospace OEMs, Tier-1, and Tier-2 suppliers.
    • Monitor industry trends, competitor activities, and customer requirements to align business goals.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Management

    • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential customers.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for aerospace customers, understanding technical requirements and translating them into business opportunities.
    • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to deliver customized solutions.
  • Technical & Commercial Coordination

    • Leverage basic knowledge of aerospace machining processes (turning, milling, grinding, honing, deep hole drilling, special processes, etc.) to engage with customers at a technical level.
    • Prepare and present technical and commercial proposals, ensuring compliance with aerospace standards and certifications (AS9100, NADCAP, etc.).
    • Support contract negotiations and long-term agreements.
  • Market Development

    • Represent the company at aerospace exhibitions, trade shows, and industry events.
    • Develop marketing initiatives to position the company as a preferred aerospace machining partner.
    • Provide input on pricing strategies, partnerships, and alliances.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in

    mechanical / aerospace engineering

    or related field (MBA preferred).
  • 5 - 10 years of experience in aerospace business development

    with proven track record of revenue growth.
  • Strong technical knowledge of

    aerospace machining processes and materials

    (titanium, Inconel, stainless steels, aluminum alloys, composites).
  • Familiarity with

    aerospace quality standards

    (AS9100, NADCAP, ITAR, etc.).
  • Established network within aerospace OEMs, Tier-1, and Tier-2 suppliers.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
