Job Description

Role Overview

The Business Development Manager (BDM) School Connect Program will be responsible for establishing and strengthening partnerships with schools, counselling networks and academic institutions to promote Adamas University's brand and academic offerings. The role focuses on generating student awareness, driving enrolments through structured outreach initiatives, and building long-term relationships with key stakeholders across regions. The ideal candidate must possess strong communication skills, a strategic mindset and an extensive understanding of the education ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

1. School Outreach & Partnerships

  • Identify, connect, and establish strategic relationships with schools, junior colleges, education counsellors, and academic influencers.
  • Plan and execute school visits, orientation sessions, career awareness programs, and student engagement activities.
  • Develop partnerships to promote Adamas Universitys academic offerings across multiple regions.

2. Business Development & Market Expansion

  • Drive the School Connect Program to achieve annual outreach and admission targets.
  • Identify new markets, regions, and networks for expanding reach.
  • Engage with key decision-makers such as principals, academic coordinators, and career counsellors to generate interest and student referrals.

3. Student Engagement & Counselling Support

  • Conduct career counselling workshops, presentations, and interactive sessions for students and parents.
  • Support the admissions team with lead generation, application follow-up, and conversion activities.
  • Represent the university at education fairs, exhibitions, and student-driven academic events.

4. Marketing & Campaign Support

  • Collaborate with the central marketing team to execute ATL/BTL initiatives relevant to school outreach.
  • Ensure branding guidelines are followed during all external school engagements.
  • Monitor regional competitor activities and submit actionable insights.

5. Reporting & Coordination

  • Prepare weekly and monthly field activity reports, visit trackers and performance summaries.
  • Coordinate with internal departments for scheduling events, resource allocation, and program execution.
  • Maintain an updated database of partner schools, contacts and engagement outcomes.

Required Skills & Competencies

  • Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven experience in

    education marketing, school outreach, or business development within the academic sector

    .
  • Excellent relationship-building and networking capabilities.
  • Ability to conduct counselling sessions and academic presentations with confidence.
  • Knowledge of regional school ecosystems and market behaviour.
  • Willingness to travel extensively for field visits and outreach engagements.
