Business Development Lead

As a Market Group Owner at Ameriprise India - PracticeSource, your role will involve helping in growing the business through consultative sales calls/outreach and guiding Franchise advisors on the services available at PracticeSource. You will collaborate with field leaders to strategize on campaigns for higher penetration in the assigned market groups. Additionally, you may need to travel to represent PracticeSource at Ameriprise Conferences and advisor offices to educate them about PracticeSource offerings. **Key Responsibilities:** - Onboard Ameriprise franchise advisors for Ameriprise India - PracticeSource Services - Support Market Group Owners on Sales Activities & Initiatives - Manage Market Groups after the first few months of on-the-job training - Conduct Cold Calling to build key advisor relationships, identify business opportunities, negotiate with and onboard advisors, and track potential opportunities - Conduct Consultation Calls to reach out to advisors, identify potential new leads, orient them with PS services, convert them into customers, and grow business by generating new planning demand - Support Sales Initiatives by driving, tracking, and reporting the success of marketing campaigns - Travel (if required) to attend conferences, corporate office, and advisor offices **Required Qualifications:** - Bachelors degree or equivalent; 5+ years of experience - Excellent verbal and written communication skills - Knowledge of financial planning tools and processes - Ability to collaborate, develop, and maintain relationships with field leaders - Effective time management skills - Strong attention to detail and organization - Ability to provide a consultative approach to the advisors - Positive attitude and willingness to constantly learn and grow **Preferred Qualifications:** - Prior knowledge of financial planning tools would be preferred - Experience in International Sales, specifically in the US Market - Cold Calling experience About Our Company: Ameriprise India LLP has been providing client-based financial solutions for 125 years to help clients plan and achieve their financial goals.
