Position: 1. Business Development Executive

Position: 2. Academic Counselor

Employment Type: Full-Time

Location: Kolkata

Key Responsibilities :

  • Prospect and Lead Generation:

    Identify and research potential clients, partners, and local institutions. Generate leads through cold calls, online research, and field visits.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain strong relationships with current and potential clients. Understand their academic needs and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Sales and Revenue Growth:

    Develop and execute strategies to meet and exceed sales targets. Deliver persuasive presentations, negotiate terms, and close deals.
  • Market Analysis:

    Stay updated on education trends, competitor offerings, and changing market demands. Analyse data to identify new business opportunities.
  • Reporting and Documentation:

    Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of sales interactions, performance, and conversions. Submit regular reports and forecasts to management.
  • Collaboration:

    Coordinate with marketing, product, and academic teams to align goals and improve offerings. Provide market feedback to aid continuous improvement.
  • Student Counselling:

    Interact with prospective students via calls or in-person to understand their educational goals and guide them accordingly.
  • Enrolment Assistance:

    Support students in the admission process, including course selection, payment, and registration. Follow up to ensure smooth onboarding.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (Masters degree is a plus)
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in business development, sales, or academic counselling
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation abilities
  • Proficient in using CRM software, MS Office, and other sales tools
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and a team player
