The primary responsibility of an RS Account Manager is to understand and engage with the customer's engineering, operations, and purchasing departments. They also collaborate with key finance stakeholders at all levels to promote and deliver market-leading services, while fostering the strong commercial relationships expected from leaders in the B2B distribution market.

With a product range encompassing over 700,000 items, Business Development Executive have ample opportunities to not only meet but exceed their targets.

Knowledge, Skills and Qualifications Required

As a sales professional, you will demonstrate a degree of flexibility and thrive in a fast-paced organization. Moreover, you will exhibit a high level of emotional intelligence and possess a proven track record of delivering profitable sales growth.

Ideally you will have:

  1. Collaboratively works with sales team to develop an overall sales plan for the technologies in order to maximize opportunities and generate sales activity with customers and suppliers
  2. Achieves/exceeds monthly sales targets and margin by identifying, prospecting and qualifying new customers and selling through strategic suppliers.
  3. Leads negotiations, coordinates complex decision-making process, and overcomes objections to capture new business opportunities
  4. Range selection and onboarding of local brands and suppliers for T&M to Indian demand and standards.
  5. Supports marketing related events, seminars, and campaigns to increase brand awareness and presence in the local market
  6. Develops category pipeline / tender opportunities and submits accurate and timely forecasts that are aligned with assigned sales quotas.
  7. Technical range support and training for sales & technical team on technologies
  8. Category performance, competitor insights and market information to be provided as part of monthly category review
  9. Monthly business review planning with selected strategic suppliers.

  • Achieving predetermined sales and cost management targets.
  • Developing, implementing, and overseeing the call cycle procedure to maximize customer engagement with both potential and existing customers, in order to meet objectives and targets.
  • Generating monthly and quarterly reports.
  • Ensuring consistent use of Salesforce software within the team and taking responsibility for the accuracy and integrity of recorded data.
  • Facilitating prompt and satisfactory resolution of customer inquiries and complaints in the region.
  • Providing strategic managerial input and feedback to the management.
  • Preparing, planning, and conducting effective field team meetings to deliver and monitor company/regional objectives.
  • Traveling to various territories with the objective of achieving the aforementioned goals.

  • Increase in business through "Net-New" and "Existing" customers.
  • Achievement of monetary and growth targets within the assigned territory.
  • Achievement and increase in average order value, breadth of purchase, and order frequency within the territory.

  • Successful development and implementation of plans and objectives within specified timelines.
  • Ensuring synergy and maintaining database integrity.
