Job Description

Role & responsibilities:

  • Sales & Business Development:

    • Identify and target potential customers within the Chakan and PCMC industrial belts, including manufacturing units, construction companies, hydraulic system integrators, and other relevant industries.
    • Generate new leads through cold calling, networking, industry events, and market research.
    • Conduct on-site visits to prospective and existing clients to present products, demonstrate solutions, and understand their specific needs.
    • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
    • Negotiate pricing and terms of sales, aiming to close deals and achieve sales targets.
    • Develop and implement strategic sales plans to expand customer base and market share.
  • Client Relationship Management:

    • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for hydraulic solutions.
    • Regularly follow up with clients to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for repeat business or upselling.
    • Address customer inquiries, concerns, and complaints promptly and effectively, escalating issues to relevant departments when necessary.
  • Market Analysis & Reporting:

    • Keep abreast of market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments within the hydraulic industry.
    • Provide regular sales reports, forecasts, and market feedback to the management team.
    • Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline status in the CRM system.
  • Product Knowledge:

    • Develop and maintain in-depth product knowledge of Raj Hydroflex's full range of hydraulic hoses, fittings, and valves.
    • Be able to articulate technical specifications, features, benefits, and applications of products to customers.

Preferred candidate profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Production, or Industrial preferred), Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 2-4 years of proven field sales experience, preferably in the industrial products sector (hydraulic components, industrial machinery, or similar).
  • Strong understanding of hydraulic systems, hoses, fittings, and valves is highly desirable.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated, results-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and a customer-centric approach.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with ERP software.
  • Valid driver's license own reliable transportation are essential for travel within assigned territories.
  • Familiarity with the Chakan and PCMC industrial areas is a significant advantage.
