Job Summary:

Business Development Executive

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities in target markets (B2B, OEMs, distributors, industrial clients).
  • Conduct market research to identify trends, customer needs, and emerging opportunities.
  • Generate leads through cold calling, networking, industry events, and digital channels.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly/quarterly targets.

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and partners.
  • Handle client inquiries, provide product information, and suggest suitable solutions.
  • Coordinate with internal teams (production, logistics, quality) to meet customer requirements.
  • Ensure timely follow-up and excellent customer service for repeat business.

Business Strategy & Coordination

  • Prepare sales forecasts, reports, and pipeline updates for management.
  • Collaborate with marketing to plan promotional activities, trade fairs, and exhibitions.
  • Contribute to pricing strategies and negotiation of contracts.
  • Track competitor activities and stay updated on manufacturing industry trends.

Key Skills & Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing, or related field.
  • 1–5 years of experience in B2B sales or business development (manufacturing preferred).
  • Strong understanding of industrial/manufacturing products & processes.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to manage time well and work independently under pressure.
  • Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and data analysis.

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience selling to OEMs, industrial clients, or engineering firms.
  • Technical aptitude to understand manufacturing processes and product specifications.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
