Business Development Executive/Sales Executive – Freight Forwarding / Logistics

(Candidate based in India who has experience working in Logistics/Freight only can Apply)

A reputed logistics and freight forwarding company in Qatar is looking to hire an experienced Sales Executive to join their team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for acquiring new clients, managing existing accounts, and ensuring exceptional service delivery aligned with business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Secure new customers and maintain/develop existing accounts.

  • Meet and exceed targets in terms of revenue generation and business growth.

  • Conduct regular sales visits and follow up on potential leads to convert them into business.

  • Maintain accurate records of customer details and visit reports.

  • Identify potential clients and pursue new business opportunities to achieve revenue targets.

  • Visit existing clients to ensure service satisfaction and explore new revenue streams.

  • Negotiate with clients in line with pricing guidelines to maximize profitability.

  • Follow up on client communications promptly and professionally.

  • Coordinate closely with Customer Service and Operations teams for smooth execution of contracts.

  • Promote the company’s services and collaborate with other departments for cross-selling opportunities.

  • Participate in regular sales meetings and contribute to overall business development.

  • Coordinate with Finance for client payment follow-ups when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification.

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in Sales within Freight Forwarding / Logistics.

  • Strong B2B sales and key account management skills.

  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

  • Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.

  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
