Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Identify new business opportunities, new markets, new products, new business with existing clients, acquisitions etc.) by carrying out market studies etc.
Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies aligned with company goals.
Develop new relationships in an effort to grow business and help company expand
Maintain strong and cordial relationship with potential clients.
Monitor and control expenses in relation to revenue generation on a monthly basis
Maintain all transaction records in freight and provide MIS Monthly basis.
Procurement of Rates from Shipping Line / Agents and Vendor
Continuous improvement in business on FCL / LCL / AIR / COURIER AND LMC
Think critically when planning to assure project success.
Achieve set revenue and volume targets for the financial year.

Preferred candidate profile

Bachelors Degree / Masters approved or equivalent Professional qualification
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Strong selling, negotiating, and People skills.
Proven knowledge and execution of successful development strategies
Focused and goal-oriented.
2-4 yrs of experience in 3PL /Freight Forwarding Sales,
