Business Development Executive (BDE)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Telesales Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in outbound sales calls and a preference will be given to those with experience in the freight forwarding or logistics industry. You will be responsible for generating leads, building client relationships, and converting prospects into loyal customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls to prospective and existing clients to promote freight forwarding and logistics services.

Generate qualified leads and set up meetings for field sales teams.

Understand customer needs and offer tailored logistics solutions.

Maintain a pipeline of prospects and follow up consistently to close sales.

Achieve and exceed weekly/monthly sales targets and KPIs.

Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business.

Update CRM system with accurate records of calls, leads, and outcomes.

Work closely with operations and customer service teams to ensure seamless client onboarding.

Requirements:

Proven experience in telesales or outbound sales (minimum 1–2 years).

Experience or knowledge in the freight forwarding/logistics industry is highly preferred.

Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

Target-driven with a proactive sales approach.

Proficient in CRM software and MS Office.

Ability to handle objections and remain resilient under pressure.

High school diploma required; additional education or certifications in sales or logistics is a plus.
