Job Description

Job Purpose

To work on sales, lead generation and business development for M&A services (Mergers and Acquisitions) and related assignments. Coordinate with clients, establish business rapport and enhance client satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities

SALES:

1. Call and communicate with decision-makers of companies, to pitch M&A services

2. Make cold calls, follow up calls, and run call + email campaigns, for lead generation i.e. To work on sales evolution, identify prospects, generate leads as per defined criteria and translate leads into clients

3. Schedule meetings and teleconferences, and pass on leads to seniors for onward sales closure/client mandates

4. Responsible to conduct webinars / WebEx / primary meetings with prospective clients falling within the defined selection & turnover criteria

5. Participate in teleconferences and meetings with prospective clients, with seniors

6. Lead Management- Maintain lead pipeline, follow-up on the leads generated and continuously update sales team on the progress

7. Prepare, update & maintain daily, weekly, monthly MIS & status reports for sales team.

SOURCING:

1. Source business, originate leads, qualify and generate prospects, as per assigned sourcing criteria and targets

2. Source companies and key decision makers through different online offline tools available

3. Conduct research on different market segments including geographies, industries and find potential clients/build databases

4. Arrange and update the database, call records and prepare a plan for future lead generation

SALES COORDINATION:

1. Prepare basic documents for client meetings including company profiles, business propositions, draft mandates, growth roadmap presentations as required

2. Maintain dashboards, project trackers, live-lead lists, meeting schedules/minutes, team performance and productivity reports, client feedback and customer satisfaction surveys

CRM (CLIENT RELATIONSHIP MANAGEMENT):

1. SPOC for mandated clients and key accounts

2. Monitor the progress on each account and keep the client updated through calls, emails and status updates at set frequencies.

3. Resolve client queries and grievances and assist in smooth transition for clients throughout the milestone stages

4. Developing customer rapport and cultivating relations for business development
