Job Title: Business Development Executive – Industrial Kitchens & Catering Segment

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic Business Development Executive to identify, develop, and manage new business opportunities in the industrial catering and large commercial kitchen segment. The role focuses on acquiring bulk clients such as industrial caterers, factories, central kitchens, hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, and food processing units.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and on board new clients in industrial catering, cloud kitchens, factories, food courts, and central kitchen operations.
  • Conduct regular field visits, client meetings, and product demonstrations.
  • Understand customer requirements and propose suitable induction cooking. solutions.
  • Prepare commercial proposals, quotations, and negotiate pricing.
  • Generate consistent sales pipeline and achieve monthly/quarterly revenue targets.
  • Coordinate with production and technical teams for order execution.
  • Build long-term relationships with decision-makers such as chefs, purchase heads, and project consultants.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends.
  • Maintain accurate CRM and sales reporting.

Candidate Profile

  • Graduate in Business, Marketing, or Engineering (preferred).
  • 2–5 years of proven experience in B2B sales / business development.
  • Prior experience in commercial kitchen equipment, industrial machinery, HVAC, food processing, or capital equipment is highly preferred.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Tamil Nadu and nearby states.
  • Self-motivated, target-driven, and capable of closing large-value deals.
