OpEff is a financial technology firm specializing in portfolio management and accounting systems for investment management firms including hedge funds, fund administrators, corporations, prime brokers and other funds. OpEff's flagship product, Perfona, is a state of the art cloud based system leveraging next generation technologies and agile development methodologies to provide our clients the most innovative portfolio operations platform.

OpEff has an opening for a mid level sales and marketing associate who has experience in selling technology or fund administration services to investment management firms and helping brand firm's offerings. The ideal candidate will have an entrepreneurial mindset and identify creative ways in which the addressable market space can be managed and reached out to. You will also help manage and oversee relationships with new and existing partners through high-touch networking, lead generation, and market research.

Role Description

  • Own the entire proposal process: identify customer's needs, develop win themes, and produce complete proposals
  • Assess the competitive landscape and track key market trends and developments
  • Network, prospect and sell products and services
  • Meet sales quota and build solid prospect pipeline
  • Brand, build and maintain relationships with prospects, clients and partners
  • Present product, negotiate sales and work with developers to deliver POC projects on time
  • Build marketing campaigns through various social media channels and establish brand
  • Understand OpEff's product offerings, build competency and demonstrate
  • Provide account support as well as excellent customer service and smooth communications
  • Attend events and conference
  • Stay abreast of changes in market trends
  • Maintain the database using your organizational skills to streamline processes and clean up the data

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in business, sales, marketing or finance
  • Hard-working and self-driven with hunger to succeed
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp business knowledge of our software and the math behind
  • Any financial certification a plus
