Role Description

This is a full-time hybrid role based in Ahmedabad with some work-from-Office and field work flexibility. As a Business Development and Medico Marketing Specialist, you will focus on lead generation, new customer engagement through excellent communication skills, and market research to identify new business opportunities and enhance growth. Your role will include building product marketing strategies, ensuring excellent customer service, and supporting product promotion efforts tailored to target audiences. Collaboration with teams to create campaigns and analyze market data will also be key components of your day-to-day tasks.


Job Responsibilities

1. Identify, evaluate, and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and customer segments.


2. Conduct KOL (Key Opinion Leader) engagement, clinical discussions, and medical education initiatives.


3. Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders including hospitals, clinicians, distributors, government agencies, and strategic partners.


4. Develop scientifically accurate and compelling product content, including brochures, presentations, training modules, and digital assets.


5.Coordinate with cross-functional teams (sales, regulatory, supply chain, product, and marketing) to ensure seamless execution of BD initiatives.


6. Support marketing campaigns with clinical evidence, real-world data, and scientific positioning.


7. Plan and support participation in conferences, workshops, CMEs, exhibitions, and industry events


8. Track competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments to support strategic decision-making.


9. Collaborate with external CRO and doctors to generate clinical case studies, publications, and product claims.


Essential Skills & Background Knowledge

1. Excellent communication and teamwork skills with cross functional department.

2. knowledge of Market research and Product Life Cycle

3. Strong understanding and knowledge of life science and anatomy & physiology

4. Proficiency in literature search and scientific writing

5. Strong enthusiasm and aptitude in business development and medico marketing


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (B.Sc. or M.Sc. / B.Pharm. or M.Pharm. /B Tech. or M Tech.) in Life Sciences, Biotechnology, Biomedical engineering , Pharmacy, or related field with excellent communication skill.
  • Additional degree qualification for Healthcare Management , Product Management or medico marketing relevant courses is an added advantage.
