Business Development Analyst, Staff - Wireless Technologies

General Summary:

Job Overview:

• Qualcomm is looking for a Business Development Analyst for their Carrier Business in India with experience & understanding in Connectivity & Networking, AI and Industrial & Embedded IOT segments.
• The candidate will be responsible for play a critical role in strategic partnerships, solution sales, market analysis, and support the go-to-market plans and India customer engagements
• The position requires expertise in modem technology, 5G, 4G, mmWave, Wi-Fi, Cellular IOT and other networking technologies as well as strong customer & segment understand, interpersonal & communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support business development, and Planning and Execution for carrier adoption of Qualcomms technology & value proposition.
• Understanding the customers and partners businesses, strategies and objectives and facilitating business deals ensuring alignment with Qualcomms business objectives and requirements.
• Ability to do Market Analysis, conduct-in-depth market research to identify new trends, customer needs and competition.
• Support in developing and executing comprehensive business development & product strategy for broadband solutions, including market entry, pricing strategy.
• Support GTM strategies, solution sales, and techno-commercial proposals for RFP/RFQ/RFI responses
• Work with technology product management and engineering leads and support in driving requirements into the technology roadmaps
• Supports in managing sales pipeline and forecasts
• Technical knowledge to stay updated on Broadband and networking technologies, industry standards and best practices to provide expert advice and insights.
• Supports the creation and validation of business cases for new product initiatives aligned with Qualcomms strategic direction.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering, Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field.
• Candidate will have at least 3-5 Years of relevant industry experience in telecommunications/networking/infrastructure/Silicon.
• Strong understanding of modem technology, 5G, 4G, mmWave, Wi-Fi, Cellular IOT and other networking technologies.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Masters in Business Management
• Deep understanding of operational aspects like reliability and product test.
• Effective communication skills with cross functional teams, both technical and non-technical, within a fast-paced, collaborative, innovative environment, including experience in discussing complex ideas with partners, customers, and executives.
• Willingness to travel as required.
