Job Description

Position Overview

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned state/region.
  • Generate leads for project-based sales.
  • Achieve monthly as per business plans including retail.
  • Explaining technical features of products specially Living & Furnishing with LIGHT

Relationship Management

  • Build and nurture strong relationships with channel partners, retailers, architects, interior designers, and key stakeholders.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring excellent communication and service.

Brand Promotion

  • Execute promotional activities and campaigns to enhance brand visibility.
  • Represent the brand at trade shows, exhibitions, and industry networking events.

Market Intelligence

  • Analyze competitor activities, market trends, and customer preferences to recommend growth strategies.
  • Provide regular reports on sales performance, market feedback, and opportunities.

Collaboration

  • Coordinate with the marketing, logistics, and operations teams to ensure smooth execution of sales and supply chain processes.

Candidate Profile

  • Education:

    Engineering degree (preferably in Electrical, Electronics, or Mechanical). MBA/PGDM in Marketing or Business Management is a plus.
  • Experience:

    47 years in business development, retail sales, or channel management (Lighting/ Consumer Durables/ Building Materials preferred).
  • Skills & Attributes:

    • Strong negotiation and relationship-building skills.
    • Self-motivated and target-driven mindset.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
    • Ability to work independently and travel extensively within the region.
    • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary:

    40,000 50,000 per month (based on experience and skills).
