Business Continuity Manager

Role & responsibilities

• Enabling high level of compliance to the organizations Resilience Policy
• Engaging & working together with Business and Enabling Functions Leadership, develop strategies for BCM & CM suitable and appropriate for the organization across locations.
• Lead resilience response coordination for the LoB / Function
• Lead implementation of BCM and Crisis Management lifecycle activities on an ongoing basis
• Represent the team in governance meetings and client visits/audits.
• Prepare reports, conduct analysis, and present to various stakeholders.
• Subject Matter Expertise in Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Crisis Management (CM) lifecycle
• Acquainted to corporate aspects on policies and contractual commitments.
• Competence to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge in setting up preparedness, response, recovery processes in-line with the requirements of customers and stringent regulatory requirements in a timely and planned manner.
• Proficient in planning and execution for Response & Action during a BC event
• Monitor and report BCM program compliance to R&C and Engagement / Function leadership.
• Good understanding and exposure to business operations in IT Application Support and Maintenance, Infrastructure, Business Services, and Products & Platforms
• Drive implementation of business continuity education, training, and awareness
• Proficient in conducting business continuity tests.
• Must be able to Analyse, Collate, Assess/Review and derive risk mitigation plan and resolve audit findings with permanent resolution approach.
• Identify areas of improvement and suggest changes, if any, to functional leadership.

Preferred candidate profile

• At least 10 years of work experience in Risk Management related program implementation in multiple domains (Infrastructure services, BFSI, Healthcare, etc.)
• Must have led a team of 10-15 members as BCM/CM Lead in an organization of repute.
• Must have been engaged in Functional/Enterprise level projects/programs in a corporate with multi-entity with multiple Geography-based operations.
• Should have background in managing and implementing IT disaster recovery program(s) in IT/ITES industry of repute.

Additional Qualification

• Masters Degree would be added advantage.
• Industry approved certification - Certified Lead Auditor/Implementer in ISO 27001, ISO 22301 would provide a high advantage
• Industry approved Certification in Crisis, Business Continuity or Risk Management would be an added advantage
