Business Applications Engineer

Job Summary:

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain NetSuite ERP modules including Financials, Order Management, Procurement, and Inventory
• Develop custom scripts (SuiteScript 1.0/2.0), workflows, and integrations to support business needs
• Collaborate with Finance, Operations, and other departments to gather requirements and implement solutions
• Manage system upgrades, testing, and deployment of new features
• Create and maintain dashboards, saved searches, KPIs, and reports
• Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations
• Maintain documentation of system architecture, configurations, and customizations
• Support data migration, cleansing, and validation efforts
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and audit requirements
• Troubleshoot system issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions
• Maintain and enhance integrations between NetSuite, Zip, and Concur using APIs or middleware
• Create and manage saved searches, reports, dashboards, and workflows in NetSuite
• Support procurement workflows and vendor onboarding in Zip

Qualifications:

• Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with NetSuite ERP, including SuiteScript development
• Strong understanding of business processes such as Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, and Record-to-Report
• Experience with integration tools (e.g., Celigo, Dell Boomi, MuleSoft) is a plus
• Proficiency in SQL, JavaScript, and Excel
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment

Preferred Skills:

• NetSuite Administrator or SuiteFoundation Certification
• Experience with NetSuite OneWorld
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Knowledge of SOX compliance and audit controls
