Business Analyst

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Business Analyst with a strong background in the Wealth Management domain. The ideal candidate should possess hands-on experience in business process mapping, requirements gathering, Jira-based project tracking, along with a good understanding of relational databases and Azure cloud services. You will act as a key liaison between business stakeholders and the technical team to drive successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across Wealth Management functions.
• Define and document current and future state business processes.
• Create user stories, process flows, and use cases in Jira.
• Conduct gap analysis and impact assessments.
• Collaborate with product owners, developers, QA, and other teams to ensure accurate implementation of business needs.
• Support data analysis and reporting by writing queries or working with database teams.
• Assist in solution design and validate technical deliverables against requirements.
• Participate in UAT and coordinate feedback with business teams.
• Prepare detailed documentation such as BRDs, FRDs, and SOPs.
• Ensure alignment with compliance and regulatory standards specific to the wealth management industry.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, with at least 2 years in Wealth/Asset Management.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira and Agile methodologies.
• Experience with business process modeling tools and techniques.
• Ability to write and understand SQL queries for data validation and analysis.
• Familiarity with Azure services like Data Factory, Synapse, or Logic Apps is a plus.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.

Nice to Have:

• Certification in CBAP, Scrum, or Agile methodologies.
• Experience with Power BI or other visualization tools.
• Exposure to client onboarding, compliance, or advisory workflows in wealth management

Qualifications

• 4-6 years of work experience in relevant field
• B.Tech/B.E/M.Tech or MCA degree from a reputed university. Computer science background is preferred
