Business Analyst III

As a Senior Business Analyst at Zinnia, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful delivery of projects. Your responsibilities will include collaborating with cross-functional teams to define project requirements, implementing process improvements, managing risks, and ensuring that projects meet customer expectations in terms of budget, quality, and timelines. Your role will involve working closely with senior stakeholders to facilitate decision-making, lead business analysis activities, and continuously enhance processes within a dynamic and fast-paced environment. Your key responsibilities will include leading the initial project scope and analysis activities, as well as facilitating detailed Solution Definition meetings to drive towards a holistic solution. You will also be responsible for conducting solution planning sessions to ensure efficient use of time and incorporating knowledge of existing client implementations and business offerings to drive scoping sessions effectively. As the voice of the customer, you will translate business objectives into approaches prescribed by Zinnia, ensuring adherence to the Zinnia IT framework and supporting clients" business objectives. You will be expected to provide thought leadership by identifying new and innovative business analysis tools and techniques in response to business needs, while also assisting other Capability areas in identifying scope changes and facilitating the dissemination of information to the appropriate Delivery Team. To be successful in this role, you will need a Bachelor's degree in computer information systems or a related field, or equivalent work experience. Additionally, 4-6 years of experience in business and/or systems analysis, preferably in the insurance industry, is required. You should have a strong understanding of the techniques necessary to manage activities related to planning and requirements/analysis phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC). Proficiency in tools such as Jira for task and project tracking, managing sprint cycles, and reporting is essential, along with strong project management, relationship building, and analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills, as well as the ability to work effectively as part of a cross-functional, global team, are key attributes for this role at Zinnia.
