Business Analyst

Role Overview

1. Data Analysis & Reporting

• Extract, clean, and analyze large datasets using SQL and Python.
• Develop interactive dashboards and visual reports in Power BI for business insights.
• Use Excel (Advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, VBA, Power Query, etc.) to manipulate and analyze data effectively.
• Build automated reporting frameworks to track key performance indicators (KPIs).

2. Database Management & Optimization

• Write and optimize complex SQL queries for data extraction and transformation.
• Manage data pipelines and automate data workflows using Python scripts.
• Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across various sources.

3. Business Intelligence & Insights

• Provide actionable insights to support business strategy and operational improvements.
• Identify trends, patterns, and anomalies in data to drive decision-making.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into analytical solutions

4. Automation & Process Improvement

• Develop Python-based automation solutions for data processing and reporting.
• Implement ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) pipelines to streamline data flows.
• Optimize existing Excel-based processes with automation techniques.

5. Collaboration & Stakeholder Communication

• Collaborate with business teams, product managers, and IT to align data solutions with business objectives.
• Present findings, insights, and recommendations to leadership teams.
• Train and mentor junior analysts in SQL, Python, Power BI, and Excel best practices.
