1. MIS Reporting:

  • Develop, prepare, and automate periodic MIS reports (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly) using Excel and Power BI.
  • Create insightful dashboards and visualizations for senior management to track business performance, trends, and KPIs.
  • Support the BIU department in gathering, analysing, and presenting financial, operational, and risk data.
  • Maintain and update reporting templates to ensure consistent data quality and easy integration of new data sources.

2. Data Management & Automation:

  • Automate recurring reports and dashboards using Power BI and Excel to reduce manual effort and ensure timely delivery.
  • Maintain a centralized repository of all MIS and regulatory reports, ensuring data integrity and version control.

3. Business Insights & Analytics:

  • Provide analytical insights to support business decision-making, identifying trends, risks, and opportunities from MIS data.
  • Use Excels advanced functions (pivot tables, macros, formulas) to analyze data and provide in-depth analysis for management

4. Cross-Departmental Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with teams across Sales, Credit, Finance, Risk, Operations, and Product departments to ensure seamless data flow and reporting.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to understand reporting requirements and provide tailored data insights.

5. RBI and NHB Regulatory Reporting:

  • Prepare and submit regulatory returns to the

    Reserve Bank of India (RBI)

    and

    National Housing Bank (NHB)

    , ensuring timely and accurate filing of reports such as

    NHB Monthly, Quarterly, half yearly and yearly reports.

  • Collaborate with internal teams (IT, Credit, Operation, Collection, Finance and Compliance) to ensure alignment between internal MIS and regulatory reporting obligations.

6. NBFC Product Experience:

  • Utilize knowledge of

    HFC

    /

    NBFC products

    (e.g., loans, advances,) to generate customized reports that reflect key business metrics.
  • Work closely with the product and business teams to understand and report on performance metrics related to loans, asset quality, collections, and other product-specific areas.
  • Ensure that product data is accurately captured in MIS reports to track sales performance, Collection report.

7. Audit and Compliance Support:

  • Support internal and external audits by providing the required MIS and regulatory reports.
  • Ensure that all reports are accurate, complete, and compliant with regulatory and organizational standards.
  • Prepare explanations and data validation for discrepancies identified during audits.

  • Skills and Qualifications

Educational Qualifications:

  • Any University Bachelors degree, Business Administration, Computer Science, or related field.
  • Advanced certifications or courses in Data Analytics, Excel, Power BI, or Business Intelligence are

    a plus

    .

Technical Skills:

  • Advanced Excel skills

    (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, data modelling).
  • Proficiency in

    Power BI

    for creating interactive dashboards, visualizations, and automated reports.
  • Familiarity with

    Power Query

    and

    Power Pivot

    to transform and load data into BI tools.
  • Ability to work with large datasets and perform data cleansing and validation.

Regulatory Knowledge:

  • Strong understanding of

    RBI and NHB reporting requirements

    , including capital adequacy, CRR, SLR, and asset classification.
  • Familiarity with NBFC regulations and its products.
  • Awareness of the regulatory environment surrounding

    NBFCs

    in India, and compliance with regulatory deadlines.

Analytical Skills:

  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets and convert them into actionable insights.
  • Experience in identifying business trends, forecasting, and risk analysis from data.
  • Ability to conduct root cause analysis and offer data-driven recommendations.

5. Time Management & Multitasking:

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple reports simultaneously while adhering to deadlines.
  • Strong organizational skills to track and maintain various reporting timelines.

6. Experience:

  • 3-5 years of experience in MIS, reporting, or data analytics roles, ideally within the financial services or NBFC sector.
  • Previous experience in regulatory reporting for

    RBI and NHB

    is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with

    NBFC products

    such as Housing finance, MSME, CV and Farm
