In this role as a Business Aligned Finance Associate at Wells Fargo, you will participate in low complexity initiatives by researching financial data and reporting findings within the functional area to support specific business units, divisions, or products. Your responsibilities will include collecting internal financial data, analyzing and testing for accuracy, and reviewing tactical issues, policies, or procedures related to risks and deliverables. You will receive direction from your supervisor and support operational aspects of work, such as maintaining ledger accounts for accurate financial data maintenance. Your role will also involve exercising independent judgment in preparing data for research on product lines and strategic plans, and developing an understanding of compliance and risk management requirements for the supported area. Additionally, you will provide financial data information to managers, functional colleagues, and stakeholders, including internal customers. Key Responsibilities: - Participate in low complexity initiatives by researching financial data and reporting findings within the functional area - Collect internal financial data, analyze and test for accuracy - Review tactical issues, policies, or procedures related to risks and deliverables - Support operational aspects of work, such as maintaining ledger accounts - Prepare data for research on product lines and strategic plans - Provide financial data information to managers, colleagues, and stakeholders Qualifications Required: - 6+ months of Finance experience, or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education For Europe, Middle East & Africa: - Experience in Finance or equivalent demonstrated through work experience, training, military experience, or education Desired Qualifications: - Subject matter expert on FP&A with hands-on experience in leveraging AI for financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting - Ability to support planning of AI adoption, influence stakeholders, and execute to improve FP&A end user experiences - Proficiency in building and deploying financial models using Python on platforms like Jupyter Notebooks, Google Colab, etc. - Utilize AI tools to automate reporting, generate insights, commentaries, and improve decision-making - Experience with AI/ML and GenAI initiatives for model development, integration, and deployment - Stay current on emerging technologies in AI to support strategic discussions for future capability development - Advanced knowledge of enterprise tools like MS Copilot with a strong understanding of prompt engineering - Experience with ERP and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) for analysis and reporting - Strong KPI and metrics-related reporting skills, with the ability to deliver financial and non-financial data and analytics independently - Good financial acumen, strategic support, financial modeling, budgeting, forecasting, and research skills - Automation and transformation skills in reporting tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence applications Job Expectations: - MBA from a reputed institute OR Cost & Management Accountant OR Chartered Financial Analyst with post-qualification experience integrating AI into financial workflows - Hands-on experience in LOB/segment/product reporting, management reporting, dashboard presentations, analytics, and commentary - Exposure to handling workflow applications, expertise in BO and/or BI Tools, data lineage, data flow/architecture, and data quality - Proficiency in Essbase, Hyperion, Cognos, SQL, Excel, Macros, Power BI, Power Apps, Powerpoint - Proficiency in AI framework and tools adoption, data querying (SQL), and advanced analytics platforms In case of any additional details about the company, they are not provided in the job description.
