Business Accountant

Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for a Business Accountant located in Dehradun. The Business Accountant will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, overseeing budgets, and ensuring compliance with accounting regulations. Key tasks include maintaining general ledger accounts, performing reconciliations, reviewing financial statements, and coordinating with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in financial accounting, cost accounting, and general accounting practices
• Experience in preparing financial statements, managing budgets, and conducting audits
• Strong skills in financial analysis, forecasting, and data management
• Expertise in utilizing accounting software and tools such as QuickBooks, Tally, or similar platforms
• Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
• Strong knowledge of tax laws, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or equivalent certification is a plus)
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Prior experience in an accounting role, preferably in a business environment
