Broadcast Engineer

As an Assistant Broadcast Engineer, your role involves setting up, configuring, operating, maintaining, diagnosing, and troubleshooting broadcast gear. You will assist the Engineering Manager in planning schedules and resource allocation based on the calendar of events. Your participation in technical and production meetings is crucial for planning, organizing, and scheduling work assignments with interdisciplinary teams both in the office and at event locations. Your responsibilities will include documenting and sharing technical knowledge through notes and manuals, as well as preparing Engineering/Production reports as needed. You will conduct training for Assistant Broadcast Engineers and share your expertise on broadcast equipment and technologies with team members. Furthermore, you will assist the Engineering Manager/Senior Engineer in maintaining all broadcast equipment to ensure the facility's full functionality. This includes establishing priorities to meet short, medium, and long-term facility operations. It is essential for you to take responsibility for all work health and safety matters, adhering to statutory safety requirements outlined in the NEP Broadcast Solutions Health and Safety Policies. Flexibility in work hours and willingness to travel for outstation assignments within the NEP Group or the Engineering Department are expected from you. Additionally, you should be prepared to undertake any other ad-hoc duties as required.
