As a Broadcast Engineer, you will be responsible for setting up, configuring, operating, maintaining, diagnosing, and troubleshooting the broadcast gear. You will collaborate with the Engineering Manager to plan schedules and allocate resources based on the calendar of events. Participation in technical and production meetings to coordinate work assignments with interdisciplinary teams both in the office and at event locations will be a key aspect of your role. Your duties will also include documenting and sharing technical knowledge through notes and manuals, as well as preparing Engineering/Production reports when necessary. Additionally, you will conduct training sessions for Assistant Broadcast Engineers and share your expertise on broadcast equipment and technologies with team members. Collaborating with the Engineering Manager/Senior Engineer, you will assist in the maintenance of all broadcast equipment to ensure the full functionality of the broadcast facility. You will prioritize tasks to meet short, medium, and long-term facility operations goals. Ensuring compliance with work health and safety regulations and adhering to NEP Broadcast Solutions Health and Safety Policies will be a crucial part of your responsibilities. Flexibility in work hours, willingness to travel outstation, and readiness to take on various roles and tasks within the Engineering Department or the NEP Group as needed are essential requirements for this position. Additionally, you may be assigned ad-hoc duties as required to support the operational needs of the broadcast facility.,
