Bridge Engineer

Job Title: Bridge Site EngineerJob Summary:

The Bridge Site Engineer is responsible for supervising bridge construction activities on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and timely project completion as per drawings, standards, and specifications. The role includes coordination with contractors, consultants, and project management teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and monitor bridge construction works including substructure, superstructure, and finishing.
• Verify execution as per approved drawings, BOQ, and technical specifications.
• Conduct survey checks for alignment, level, and dimensions during each stage.
• Ensure quality control of concrete, reinforcement, formwork, shuttering, and structural steel works.
• Coordinate daily with contractors, workers, and material suppliers.
• Maintain site records: Daily Progress Reports, inspection reports, checklists, and material tracking.
• Monitor safety practices on-site and ensure compliance with safety norms.
• Assist in material estimation, requisition, and inspection before use.
• Identify issues and provide technical solutions for field challenges.
• Work closely with design and project management teams for approvals and site inspections.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• Experience in bridge/structure construction preferred
• Knowledge of IS codes, IRC standards, and bridge construction methodology
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office (Excel, Word), surveying tools
• Good communication and reporting capability
• Strong problem-solving and leadership skills

Work Environment:

• Site-based role with field supervision
• Requires travel and extended working hours depending on project schedule

Pay: ₹14,821.07 - ₹65,893.72 per month
