Role Overview:
We are seeking a passionate and creative Branding & Marketing Intern who resonates with our purpose.
This role is ideal for someone who wants to combine creativity with meaningful storytelling helping to translate the soul of Indian handlooms and silver craft into digital content that speaks to today's audience.
You will work directly with the founders, bringing fresh ideas that align with our mission of sustainability, artisan empowerment, and modern luxury.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Storytelling & Visual Identity
Co-create compelling narratives highlighting artisan stories, sustainable practices, and craft heritage.
Design social media creatives, lookbooks, and website banners that reflect Suma
Collective's refined, heritage-meets-modern aesthetic.
Assist in refining brand guidelines and ensuring consistency across platforms.
Digital Marketing & Social Media
Schedule, publish, and track posts on Instagram and other digital platforms.
Help draft thoughtful, authentic copy for posts, newsletters, and product features.
Engage meaningfully with our community to build loyalty and awareness.
Campaign & Collaboration Support
Support seasonal campaigns, new collection launches, and exhibition promotions.
Coordinate with artisans, photographers, and collaborators to create rich content.
Research and suggest influencer collaborations aligned with the brand's ethos.
Market Research & Insights
Track industry trends, audience preferences, and competitor strategies.
Share insights to refine brand messaging and strengthen positioning.
Event & Exhibition Support (as needed)
Assist with stall concept designs, visual merchandising, and live coverage.
Share real-time updates to bring exhibition experiences to our digital audience.
Who We're Looking For:
Currently pursuing or recently completed studies in Marketing, Design, Fashion Communication, Textiles or related fields.
Deep appreciation for Indian textiles, handloom weaving traditions, and sustainable fashion.
Creative eye and design skills (Canva, Photoshop, or Illustrator).
Strong storytelling and communication skills.
Self-driven, detail-oriented, and eager to work in a purpose-led brand.
Internship Details:
Duration: 3 months
Location: Primarily remote; occasional on-site work in Delhi NCR during exhibitions
