Job Description

The Brand Manager will be responsible for developing, implementing, and executing strategic marketing plans to drive the growth and success of the organization. This role will oversee brand strategy, marketing activities, trade marketing, and customer engagement initiatives to strengthen brand equity. He/She will collaborate with cross-functional teams, manage partnerships, and lead a Marketing Assistant. This is an office-based role.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies to increase brand awareness, customer loyalty, and sales growth.
  • Build, own, and communicate the commercial marketing calendar in collaboration with Product and Commercial teams.
  • Direct the evaluation of the brand portfolio including definition, proposition, advertising concept, pricing, packaging, and promotion.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify customer needs, emerging trends, and the competitive landscape.
  • Ensure compliance with brand identity across all platforms and communications.
  • Plan, budget, and coordinate content creation and assets in-house and with third parties, ensuring timely delivery.
  • Lead the development of marketing campaigns, including ATL, BTL, retail, wholesale, and digital initiatives.
  • Partner with the Sales team on trade marketing strategies, promotions, and in-store activations.
  • Support PR, influencer marketing, partnerships, and events to strengthen the brand presence.
  • Manage advertising, media evaluation, and planning to ensure maximum ROI.
  • Organize and manage promotional events, product launches, and brand activations.
  • Oversee retail and wholesale marketing activity, including launch plans, co-op budgets, and vendor/partner relationships.
  • Develop and refine in-store demonstration and product promotion programs.
  • Coordinate with sales and corporate communication teams to ensure alignment of branding strategies.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Brand Manager, Brand Specialist, or similar role with a successful track record in brand growth and marketing strategy implementation.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, trade marketing, digital marketing, and integrated communication strategies.
  • Proficiency in media planning, vendor/agency management, and content creation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to deliver impactful presentations.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills with cross-functional collaboration experience.
  • Creativity, innovation, and results-oriented mindset with a focus on measurable goals.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize projects, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Prior experience in the FMCG sector is highly preferred.
