Brand & Design Associate / Sr. Associate

Uppeel - India's First Upcycled Beauty Brand. Armed with a goal to change the way we look at beauty in India, launched in August 2024, we're now 1 year old and building our core team. With the backing of one of India’s largest fragrances & flavours manufacturers - we're building fruit-forward skincare that works, and fragrances that delight!

About the Role

If you’re great at design, but believe you can contribute more to brand, copy, visuals and ideation, and want to stretch that intellectual-muscle, this is THE perfect role for you. We're looking for great design, a creative mind, super strong aesthetic instincts, a love for consumer-first communication, and an ability and interest to learn & grow no matter the challenge.

Responsibilities

1 – Digital content design for all digital brand content across website, ads, social media, CRM, marketplace channels etc. for ongoing requirements

2 – Brand collateral & design asset creation and custodian – think packaging, brand guideline changes, new launches, pop-up stalls, whatever may come up

3 – Ideate and visualize for the brand key projects like new launch positioning, imagery, messaging plan, launch virality, social launch concepts etc.

4 – Research, research, reference, reference. Immersing yourself in the industry, and stay-up-to-date on the tiniest of details & and keeping us all in the know on what's new in beauty

5 – Manage end-to-end all brand production and asset creation, including with external vendors; from ideating to referencing to execution support

6 – Be super open to experiment, learn & push the boundaries of what the brand can be

Qualifications

1 – 2-3 years working in fields related to consumer goods and communications / design

2 – Strong communication skills – both verbal and visual, online & in-person

3 – Be well-versed with Photoshop, Illustrator, and other design softwares (eg. Canva)

4 – Intermediate (or beginner with a passion to be better) video editing skills are a plus! 

5 – Creativity, out of the box thinking and an ability to problem solve independently

6 – Like people and be able to work well with them – both internally & externally

7 – A general openness to learning new skills and trying things outside your comfort zone

The pay for this job is in the range of INR 5 - 7LPA, depending on work experience and fit! If this doesn’t work for you, no worries, we get it :)

Location

This is a full-time role based in Wagle Estate, Thane (near Mumbai) with 6 days working (Monday - Saturday), and an option to WFH 1 day every week (Saturday)
