Reporting To: Business Development and Marketing Job Summary: As a Brand and Communications Specialist for the Medical Technologies division, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and monitoring brand, product, and digital marketing campaigns. This role involves overseeing the full process of understanding campaign objectives, planning, creating, and executing marketing strategies while continuously improving marketing processes and outcomes. The ideal candidate will be passionate about collaboration across marketing and product teams, with the ability to manage agencies, vendors, and all relevant stakeholders. You will be key in building brand equity, ensuring cohesive communication, and maximizing the impact of trade shows and events, supporting growth and visibility in the ophthalmic market. Key Responsibilities: Brand Messaging & Content Development: Develop clear, compelling brand messaging and visual content for marketing materials, presentations, digital platforms, and product collateral. Collaborate with the Strategic Marketing and Product Management teams to create consistent messaging that supports product positioning and customer engagement. Integrated Marketing Campaigns: Plan and execute integrated marketing campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels to raise awareness and promote the OPT product portfolio. Track and analyze campaign performance to optimize content and strategies for improved engagement and reach. Event & Tradeshow Coordination: Organize and manage logistics for the companys participation in industry conferences, tradeshows, and CME events, including booth design, event materials, and branding. Collaborate with the Strategic Marketing Manager to align event themes and objectives with broader marketing and sales goals, ensuring cohesive brand representation. Develop event-specific product campaigns to drive booth footfall. External & Internal Communications: Serve as the point of contact for all external communications, including press releases, newsletters, product announcements, and media relations, ensuring consistency with brand messaging. Manage internal communication efforts to keep the sales, product teams, and other stakeholders informed on upcoming events, marketing activities, and product updates. Adapt global branding and marketing communication programs for the region in alignment with the business and marketing strategy. Ensure adherence to corporate branding guidelines in all communication efforts. Digital Marketing & Social Media Management: Oversee digital marketing initiatives, including website content updates, social media management, and email campaigns to increase product visibility and engagement. Manage social media channels, posting relevant content and engaging with followers to strengthen brand awareness and customer relationships. Collateral & Asset Management: Develop, manage, and update all marketing materials, including brochures, flyers, banners, and collateral for events, sales support, and product promotions. Ensure all materials are current, accessible, and consistent with brand guidelines, providing the sales team with high-quality resources for customer interactions. Vendor & Budget Management: Manage relationships with external vendors, agencies, and printers to ensure quality and timely production of marketing assets. Oversee the marketing communications and event budget, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and maximizing ROI. Customer Engagement Programs: Collaborate with the Strategic Marketing and Sales teams to develop customer engagement initiatives, such as webinars, virtual workshops, and educational series, to support customer retention and loyalty. Plan and promote content for these programs to drive attendance, engagement, and brand loyalty. Event ROI Analysis & Reporting: Track and analyze the effectiveness of trade shows and events, including attendance, lead generation, and customer engagement metrics. Provide detailed post-event reports to assess ROI, identify areas for improvement, and recommend enhancements for future events. Qualifications & Requirements: 3-5 years of experience in marketing communications or digital marketing, preferably in Healthcare/Pharma/Med-tech or creative agencies within the healthcare domain. Experience with social media marketingorganic and paid campaigns, web/digital content marketing, SEO, SEM, and other digital platforms. Masters Degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Strong knowledge of integrated marketing communications and digital marketing strategies. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Proven ability to collaborate effectively with diverse, cross-functional teams and external vendors. Ability to work under pressure, within tight deadlines, and dynamic environments. Knowledge of office, marketing automation, and digital tools, such as Microsoft Office, Marketo, Adobe, Sitecore, Google/Adobe Analytics, SEM Rush, and content management platforms. Demonstrated project management and budget management skills. Strong business acumen, analytical, and process skills, with an ability to translate output into outcomes.
