The Branch Sales Manager is responsible for driving business growth of the branch by leading the sales team, acquiring new customers, deepening existing customer relationships, and ensuring achievement of branch sales targets across liability, asset, and third-party products.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Business Development & Sales

    • Drive branch sales targets across CASA, term deposits, loans, insurance, and other financial products.
    • Acquire new-to-bank customers and generate revenue through cross-selling.
    • Develop and execute local branch-level sales strategies to maximize business potential.
  • Team Management

    • Lead, motivate, and monitor the sales team (RMs, SOs, etc.) to achieve individual and branch targets.
    • Provide regular coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
    • Drive productivity and ensure adherence to sales processes.
  • Customer Relationship Management

    • Ensure high standards of customer service and satisfaction at the branch.
    • Build long-term relationships with HNI, retail, and SME clients.
    • Resolve customer queries and complaints within defined TAT.
  • Operations & Compliance

    • Ensure branch adherence to regulatory guidelines, audit requirements, and company policies.
    • Maintain control over sales documentation, KYC norms, and risk compliance.
    • Coordinate with operations team to ensure smooth account opening and servicing.
  • Reporting & Monitoring

    • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance.
    • Provide timely MIS and reports to senior management.
    • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and share insights with leadership.
