Job Description

  • MSME segment is high priority for the Bank with multiple strategic initiatives planned to deliver disproportionate growth in the next few years. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced professional to join our team as an MSME Branch Head. In this key leadership position, you will be responsible for managing the operations of our flagship branches, catering specifically to the unique needs of MSME clients. You will lead a team of relationship managers, service teams and support staff, ensuring exceptional service delivery, achieving business targets, and maintaining regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

1. Team Leadership and Management:

  • Provide effective leadership, guidance, and mentorship to team of relationship managers and support staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment
  • Set clear performance expectations, conduct regular performance evaluations, and provide coaching and development opportunities to enhance individual and team capabilities
  • Responsible for ensuring customer centricity in MSME branches (Asset, TFX, Liabilities)

2. Business Development and Growth:

  • Develop and implement strategies to achieve business targets, including loan disbursements, deposit growth, fee income, and profitability.
  • Identify new business opportunities within the MSME segment, leveraging market insights, industry knowledge, and client relationships.
  • Identify X-sell & upsell opportunities leveraging existing customer database & relationship

3. Credit Risk Management:

  • Oversee credit risk management process for MSME clients, ensuring adherence to bank's credit policies and regulatory requirements
  • Conduct thorough credit assessments and risk analyses of MSME loan applications, making informed credit decisions.
  • Monitor the loan portfolio, identify early warning signals, implement proactive measures to mitigate credit risks, and maintain a healthy asset quality

4. Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:

  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulatory guidelines, internal policies, and risk management frameworks.
  • Implement and maintain robust controls and processes to mitigate operational, credit, and compliance risks. Collaborate with compliance and risk management teams to address audit findings, implement corrective actions, and enhance overall branch compliance.

5. Stakeholder Engagement:

  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including product, credit & operations teams, to streamline branch operations, enhance service offerings, and drive customer satisfaction.
  • Establish strong relationships with external stakeholders to expand the bank's presence and contribute to the MSME ecosystem
