BOQ Specialist – Corporate Interior Projects

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced BOQ Specialist to join our team for corporate interior projects. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate Bills of Quantities (BOQ) based on project drawings, specifications, and site conditions. The role requires close collaboration with project managers, procurement teams, and site engineers to ensure cost-effective and precise quantity estimations.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed BOQs for corporate interior fit-out and turnkey projects.

• Review architectural, structural, MEP, and interior drawings to quantify materials and finishes.

• Ensure that BOQs cover all disciplines including civil, flooring, ceiling, partitions, electrical, plumbing, furniture, and finishes.

• Coordinate with design, procurement, and site teams to verify quantities and resolve discrepancies.

• Update and revise BOQs as per design changes, value engineering, or client instructions.

• Assist the project team with costing, tendering, and procurement schedules.

• Maintain BOQ templates and records for easy reference and future projects.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Proven experience in BOQ preparation for interior / fit-out projects (corporate/commercial spaces preferred).

• Strong understanding of interior materials, construction techniques, and finishes.

• Ability to read and interpret architectural, MEP, and furniture shop drawings.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, AutoCAD, or quantity-takeoff software.

• Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time-management skills.

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering / Interior Design / Quantity Surveying or a related field.

• Experience in turnkey corporate interiors or modular furniture will be an added advantage.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
